What Is Lumbar Decompression Therapy?

Spinal Decompression Therapy is a non-surgical drug-free procedure that is safe and pain free. The machine provides relief by gently separating the bones of the spine, reducing the pressure within the disc. Decompression is highly effective for adults who have stenosis due to the lumbar or cervical disc herniation.

 

The spinal decompression also treats back pain, neck pain, leg pain, disc degeneration, spinal stenosis, and herniated and/or bulging discs. The treatment typically lasts 20 minutes. Most patients feel relief with as few as 6-10 treatments.

 

How does it work?

The Decompression Machine provides controlled mechanical traction of the spine. During the pull phase, injured discs are gently stretched apart, producing a suction force inside the disc. This draws the bulges and herniation’s` back into the center of the disc along with oxygen, water, and other essential healing substances. If the Decompression is successful, the disc remains healthy even after the treatment is finished.
